Last week I found myself in arguably one of the most stunning of
Georgetown estates, Evermay. The occasion was the kick-off of the
S&R Foundation's Overtures Artist Concert Series
at The Kennedy Center, hosted by Dr. Sachiko Kuno and Dr. Ryuji Ueno in
conjunction with the Cherry Blossom Festival's centennial. Of course
the home (owned by doctor couple Kuno and Ueno) was gorgeous on the
inside, but the immaculate gardens that surrounded were toying with my emotions. I'm a sucker for a gazebo.
